My name is Chelsea Pelzel.  I’ve grew up here, in San Diego, and I’ve been surfing for 13 years.  Surfing is my passion; it is a way for me to detach from the rest of the world, and take time for myself.  The thrill of standing up on a wave and gliding through the water is incomparable to anything else I’ve experienced!  I have had the good fortune of traveling to various countries to go surfing, this includes: Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, New Zealand, Australia, Portugal and Spain.  In the past, I have worked as a surf instructor for Eli Howard Surf School and Outdoor Outreach, as well as, providing my own 1:1 private lessons.  I am excited to be working for San Diego Surf School, and I look forward to working with you!!
