Having been an avid surfer for over 15 years, Gene enjoys being in and around the ocean as much as possible. I love riding all sizes and shapes of boards.

As part of one of the original surf camps on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Gene loves to share his passion for surfing with others. 

With his exceptional surf instruction, Gene often coaches advanced surf lessons, and all level private surf lessons. He is an extraordinary teacher and often is the director for San Diego Surf School kids surf camps and summer surf school program.

Seeing how stoked someone gets after their first wave is inspiring and gratifying. I look forward to helping people understand that surfing is more than just a sport, it is a way of life!
