These items have been on our own wish lists and are great for anyone who loves to paddle out. Wetsuit
This is the most expensive gift on the list so if you’re really looking to go big, a new wetsuit is the way to go. Surfers are alway looking for ways to stay warm and with the water temperatures dropping they are sure to love this present. Since there are many different sizes, thicknesses and styles to choose from, buying a wetsuit can be a little tricky if you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for. Having to ask all these questions to make sure you buy the right one might ruin the surprise factor but nonetheless, any surfer would be thrilled to get a new wetsuit.
Booties
If you still want to make sure your surfer stays warm in the water but know that a new wetsuit isn’t necessary, booties are a great idea. Booties are like wetsuit socks surfers wear on their feet to keep warm in the winter. While they can still be a little pricey, they’re way cheaper than a new wetsuit and you can definitely find good deals during the holidays.
Changing Towel
A changing towel is something every surfer needs. They serve two functions: to dry you off after a surf sesh and to keep you warm and covered while changing out of your suit into comfier clothes. These are amazing for surfers trying to fit in a sesh during the day and then run off afterwards. Changing towels allow you to do a quick change at the beach or parking lot and be off to your next endeavor in no time!
Hydroflask
This is a must have if you’re spending hours in the water. It’s important to stay hydrated after a surf sesh but surfers tend to leave things like water bottles in their car making their drinks warm and unappealing once they finish surfing. Hydroflasks however, keep your drink cold so you can leave it in the car and still have a refreshing drink waiting for you when you get out of the water.
Indo Board
This is the most fun gift on the list. Indo boards are balance boards and help surfers practice their balance out of the water. This is an amazing gift because they are a lot of fun, can be used any time and can really improve surfing skills.
Beanie
If you’re looking for a stocking stuffer, a beanie is a good choice. After a chilly surf sesh most surfers want to get warm as soon as they step out of the water. A beanie is a great way to help you warm up quickly. And if you really want to impress your surfer, you can buy a beanie from one of the many surf clothing brands.
Wax
Another amazing stocking stuffer is surf wax. Surfers can never have enough wax because it’s something they use so often so it’s always a perfect gift. If you want to pick up something small for your surfer, try some surf wax!
