San Diego Surf School – Policies & Guidelines:
Prior to Arrival
- Check-In: Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled surf lesson for check-in and gear pickup.
- What to Bring: Bathing su or board shorts are required. We recommend bringing a towel, sunscreen, and water.
Locations & Meeting Points
- Pacific Beach Surf School: 4850 Cass St, San Diego, CA 92109
- Ocean Beach Surf School: 5022 Santa Monica Ave, San Diego, CA 92107
- Meeting Point: After check-in at the office, meet your surf instructor at the 10×10 white tent on the beach.
Surf Lessons & Surf Rentals – Cancellation Policy
- 72+ hours prior to lesson: Full refund, reschedule, or store credit available.
- 72–24 hours prior to lesson: Cancellations are non-refundable. Reschedules or store credit available with a $25 reprocessing fee.
- 24 hours or less prior to lesson: Cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable. Reschedules are not permitted.
- Note: Once a lesson has been rescheduled, it is non-refundable regardless of future cancellations.
Surf Camp & Adult Surf Retreat – Cancellation Policy
- Upon booking: A non-refundable deposit of $100 per person is required.
- 7+ days prior to camp start date: Eligible for reschedule, store credit, or refund minus the $100 deposit.
- Within 7 days of camp start date through camp start date: Cancellations are non-refundable and reschedules are not permitted.
Large Group Surf Lessons (10+ Participants) – Cancellation Policy
- Upon booking: A 50% non-refundable deposit (or full payment) is required. Full balance is due 30 days before the lesson date. Reservations made within 30 days require full payment.
- 30+ days prior to lesson date: Eligible for reschedule, store credit, or 50% refund.
- Within 30 days of lesson date through lesson date: Cancellations are non-refundable and reschedules are not permitted.
